QATAR: Travelers can now effortlessly transfer Avios points between seven major airline loyalty programs using a specialized tool. This feature allows members to move points at a 1:1 ratio across Aer Lingus AerClub, British Airways Club, Finnair Plus, Iberia Club, Loganair Loyalty, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, and Vueling Club, aiding in maximizing rewards. The Avios currency is utilized by several prominent airline loyalty programs, offering flexibility for frequent flyers. To transfer Avios, members need to ensure their accounts have been active for at least 30 days.
No minimum transfer amount is required, and the process is free of charge, with a cap of 999,999 Avios per transaction. The transfer tool simplifies the process by allowing members to log in with their affiliated loyalty account credentials, select the programs, and complete the transfer instantly. However, transfers involving Qatar Airways Privilege Club must be routed through British Airways Club. This transfer capability broadens the potential for travelers to take advantage of varying reward redemption opportunities, making Avios a more versatile currency.
